Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Tire Technician to service tires for commercial vehicles both in shop and roadside settings. You’ll interact with customers and drivers, keeping work areas clean and safe, and you’ll be trained if you have no prior experience.

Expect to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and obtain a DOT medical card with the company’s support. This role offers growth opportunities and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No experience? No problem! We will teach you!
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service
• Maintain store facility including general housekeeping and equipment repair
• Operate in rotating day/night shifts and ensure safety and customer satisfaction

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
