Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Illinois is hiring Tire Technicians to join a fast-paced team. You will interact with customers and drivers, perform tire installation, removal and replacement for trucks, and keep the shop clean and safe.

No experience? We will teach you. You must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in various temperatures, and be willing to rotate day and night shifts. Love's pays hourly, offers benefits after 30 days, and funds DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
• Willing to work a rotating day/night schedule.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love's).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire removal, replacement, and sale for trucks in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility equipment and perform general housekeeping.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Job Functions:

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
