Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Tire Technician to join our team. You will assist with tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles, in a fast-paced shop and roadside service environment.

Training is provided if you have no prior experience, and you will interact with customers and drivers from across the country. Safety comes first as you perform equipment maintenance, handle heavy lifting up to 75 pounds, and work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn tire servicing tasks

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for tires up to commercial vehicles
• Maintain store facility and perform housekeeping duties
• Lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction per safety policies
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Possess/obtain a medical card through DOT (Love’s pays)

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
