Job summary

Arnold Bros. Transport Ltd. is seeking a Tire Technician to maintain and repair tires for our fleet. This full-time position follows a Thursday to Monday schedule, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with safety as a top priority and a commitment to excellent service for Professional Drivers. Responsibilities include tire repairs, inventory monitoring, and accurate work orders. The ideal candidate must be able to lift ~100 lbs, work in extreme temperatures, and prioritize workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and maneuver approximately 100 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Prior tire shop experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire repairs, including mounts and dismounts.
• Assist in monitoring tire inventory in the Tire Shop.
• Complete accurate work orders and record repair history.
• Maintain tire equipment and report deficiencies to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform minor shop maintenance as required.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Tire Technician is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of tires for our fleet of Trucks and Trailers. The Tire Technician works with safety at the forefront of any decision, and is committed to providing excellent service to our fleet of Professional Drivers.This is a full-time position, with a regular schedule of Thursday to Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Perform all tire repairs, including mounts and dismounts.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of tires within the Tire Shop
• Complete accurate and clear work orders, ensuring that all repair history is recorded.
• Maintain tire equipment, ensuring that it is in safe working order, as well report any known deficiencies to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform minor shop maintenance as required.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Physical ability to lift and maneuver approximately 100 lbs.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, sit, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize daily responsibilities.
• Excellent commitment to workplace safety.
• Prior experience working in a tire shop is considered an asset.
