Job summary

Northwest Beef Express LLC is seeking a Tire Technician in Hermiston, Oregon. You will perform tire services for commercial vehicles, including mounting and dismounting, balancing, rotation, flats, and inspections.

The ideal candidate has close to one year of tire tech experience, a valid driver’s license, and a demonstrated mechanical aptitude. You will keep the shop organized and support safety and customer satisfaction on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Close to one year of tire technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
• Demonstrated desire for mechanical work.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire work for commercial vehicles including mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotation, and flat repairs.
• Ensure lug nuts are torqued to specifications and inspect vehicles.
• Receive product into location and put away as needed.
• Complete service calls to locations as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tire shop and workspace.

Are you a hardworking and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the trucking industry?

We are seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance and possess strong mechanical skills. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for performing tire services, maintenance,

mounting and dismounting tires, flat repairs, and vehicle inspections. This is the core of the business function and a starting point for all other positions.

Schedule

Monday – Friday

Essential Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform tire work (primarily commercial). Mount and dismount, air pressure checks, balancing, tire rotation and flat repairs. Ensures lug nuts are tightened to the proper torque specifications.
• Including proper receiving of product into location prior to putting away.
• Complete Service Calls to a Particular Location if Needed.
• End of shift duties completed (cleaning, finishing work, manager approval).
• Ensures that customer satisfaction and communication is of the upmost importance.
• Facility maintenance and clean-up including but not limited to:

1. Assist in organization of all tire and lube shop related supplies.
2. Warehouse Organization to include ensuring like tires are together, inventory is faced, rows are clean and tidy and help ensure the area stays safe for operating.
3. Maintains a high level of cleanliness of your workspace including bay areas, Commercial Tire Vehicles, and customer vehicles.
