Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Murray, Utah, is seeking a Service Technician to perform tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. Training is provided for motivated learners, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Automotive or tire experience a plus but training provided
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear and basic maintenance issues
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections

• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Team player who enjoys helping customers

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to perform work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following all company safety policies.
