Job summary

Gills Point S in Durango, CO is seeking a Service Technician to help keep customers safe on the road by performing tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance.

No prior experience is required; training and support are provided. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop with opportunities to grow and develop your automotive career.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to perform work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following all company safety policies.
