Job summary

Gills Point S Tire in Michigan is seeking a Service Technician to perform tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. Whether you have experience or are eager to learn, training and support are provided to help you grow your career. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
