Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Tire Technicians to perform tire removal and replacement for commercial vehicles in a fast-paced shop and roadside environment. You will help maintain clean facilities and deliver friendly service to customers.

The role includes rotating day/night shifts, hands-on tire work, and driving training opportunities. A strong work ethic and customer focus are essential, with Love’s supporting DOT medical card needs and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
• Strong work ethic and focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facilities and perform general housekeeping as needed.
• Ensure safety and satisfaction of customers, following company safety policies.
• Work a rotating schedule that may include day and night shifts.
• Assist in training new technicians (no prior experience required).

Job Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ensure safety and satisfaction of customers, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Assist in training new technicians (no prior experience required).

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
• Strong work ethic and customer focus.
