Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Tire Technician to service and replace tires for customers, including commercial vehicles, in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided for applicants with no prior experience.

You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, ensuring safety and quality while handling physical tasks, including lifting and working in varied temperatures. A DOT medical card may be obtained during employment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
