Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians in the United States. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment interacting with customers and drivers, and we’ll teach you even if you have no experience. Join a winning team and grow with us as you service tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside settings.

This role emphasizes safety, flexibility, and opportunities for career development. You’ll lift heavy tires, follow safety policies, and may obtain a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Interact with customers and drivers to assist with tire services.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain the store and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift heavy tires (75+ pounds) and work in varying temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Assist in obtaining a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
