Job summary

Tire Discounters in Alpharetta, GA is hiring an Advance Tire Technician. You will replace, repair, and rotate tires, use balancers and tire machines, and complete work orders to help customers safely on the road.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair tires on customer vehicles.
• Operate tire balancers and tire machines.
• Complete work orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organize equipment.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service and safety.
• Support a safe, collaborative work environment.

Your Role as an Advance Tire Technician:

As a Tire Technician, you'll play a key role in replacing, repairing, and rotating tires on customer vehicles. This position offers hands-on training geared towards helping you build the skills needed for more advanced roles.

What You'll Do:

• Install and repair tires.
• Operate balancers and tire machines.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and co-workers as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by meeting the customers' needs.
• Promote a safe and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Service-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team collaboration skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Available to work Saturdays.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
• Comfortable with occasional mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
• Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 + per hour effective rate
• Effective rate includes overtime, variable overtime, and monthly store bonus
