Qualifications

  • Successful completion of tire repair operations training within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Some mechanic tools from an approved list of tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Wear PPE as required.
  • Under close supervision will change, repair and rotate tires; document wheel torque sequences; conduct and document fleet checks; maintain service truck readiness; request parts and tires; respond to offsite or route service calls.
  • Document tire shop operations and track time in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain repair order documentation to include repair description, parts used, and repair times.
  • Perform monthly inventories as required.
  • Immediately report any safety violations and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Comply with company safety policies and with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Attend safety meetings.
  • May be required to drive a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) not to exceed 26,000 pounds.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Under close supervision will change, repair and rotate tires; process wheel torque sequences; conduct and document fleet checks; maintain service truck readiness; request parts and tires; respond to offsite or route service calls.
  • Document tire shop operations and track time in accordance with company procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of tire sizes and application
  • Knowledge of job-related safety rules and regulations
REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Valid Class C driver’s license
  • Safe driving record for last three years
