Job summary

Discount Tire & Service Centers in Anaheim is seeking an entry-level Tire Technician to join our growing automotive service team. The role focuses on mounting, dismounting, balancing Passenger and Light Truck tires and replacing TPMS sensors, with hands-on training to advance as a technician.

The ideal candidate has basic mechanical knowledge, can safely lift vehicles, and perform oil changes with a double-check system.

Qualifications

• Experience in mounting, dismounting tires incl. low profile & large diameter wheels.
• Experience in replacing TPMS sensors.
• Experience in lifting vehicles with hoists, floor jacks, jack stands.
• Experience in oil changes with a double-check system.
• Mechanical knowledge of brakes and suspension.

Tire Technician

A growing Tire and Automotive Service Company is seeking for an experienced Entry Level Technician. Immediate openings available.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in mounting, dismounting, balancing Passenger and Light Truck tires, including low profile, large diameter wheels.
• Experience in replacing TPMS sensors
• Experience in proper lifting of vehicles using hoists, floor jacks, jack stands, etc.
• Experience in properly changing various oils on a wide variety of vehicles using a double check system
  
• Demonstrate Mechanical knowledge of Brakes and Suspension system
  

Employer will also consider recent graduates or students of a certified Automotive Technology program. As this position is an entry level position intended to provide the experience to become an Automotive Technician.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
