Job summary

Discount Tire & Service Centers seeks an entry-level General Service Technician. The role focuses on tire mounting/dismounting, TPMS sensor replacement, and safe vehicle lifting using hoists and jacks. Oil changes and alignments are part of duties, with emphasis on brakes and suspension knowledge.

Recent graduates from automotive programs are encouraged to apply. Schedule includes an 8‑hour shift; holidays, Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in mounting/dismounting tires and balancing.
• Experience in replacing TPMS sensors.
• Experience in lifting vehicles using hoists, floor jacks, jack stands.
• Experience in oil changes with a double-check system.
• Experience in alignments.

General Service Technician

A growing Tire and Automotive Service Company is seeking for an experienced Entry Level Technician. Immediate openings available.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in mounting, dismounting, balancing Passenger and Light Truck tires, including low profile, large diameter wheels.


• Experience in replacing TPMS sensors


• Experience in proper lifting of vehicles using hoists, floor jacks, jack stands, etc.


• Experience in properly changing various oils on a wide variety of vehicles using a double check system


• Experience in Alignments


• Demonstrate Mechanical knowledge of Brakes and Suspension systems


• Experience changing brakes, shocks, suspension components

Employer will also consider recent graduates or students of a certified Automotive Technology program. As this position is an entry level position intended to provide the experience to become an Automotive Technician.
