Job summary

RNR Tire Express in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a General Manager in Training (GM-MIT) to learn all store operations and prepare to lead a location. This hands-on program rotates through sales, service, accounts, and leadership, with travel to multiple stores within the region.

You will train with experienced leaders, build leadership skills, and gain business judgment and accountability needed to advance to general manager. Salary $50,000-$55,000 with performance-based bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of leadership or management experience.
• A hands-on mindset and willingness to learn every area of the store, including sales, accounts, and service operations.
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, customer-resolution skills.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements; flexible schedule.
• Willingness to travel regularly among multiple stores within the region.
• Tire/auto retail leadership experience or bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through and actively support Sales Specialist, Account Specialist, and Service Specialist functions.
• Learn and demonstrate RNR processes, customer-care standards, safety expectations, and daily operating procedures.
• Set clear priorities, communicate daily goals, coach team members, and follow up on performance.
• Use store metrics to identify opportunities and improve sales, account performance, service and retention.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, inventory control and daily operations.
• Build trust while maintaining accountability and readiness to lead an RNR Tire Express location.
