Job summary

S&S Tire is urgently seeking a Tire Road Service Technician for our Charleston, WV location. This full-time role operates typically Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential overtime and opportunities for growth within the company.

We offer competitive wages starting at $16-20/hour (or more) depending on experience, weekly pay, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, plus a 401(k) plan with company matching and paid vacation/holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automotive repair technician, master technician, fleet mechanic or in a related role.
• ASE Certification or Technical/Vocational education in related field is preferred, but not required.
• OTR experience is a plus, not required.
• Willing and able to work in a shop / warehouse environment.
• Lift/move tires up to 100lbs with or without equipment, frequent bending and lifting.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• At minimum 23 years old, possess a valid, insurable license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Best One Tire & Service is a leading provider of products and services to trucking companies and related industries. We are urgently looking to add a Tire Road Service Technician to our Truck Tire Team in Charleston, WV. This job is typically M-F from 7:30a - 4:30p.

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Mount/Dismount/Installation of tires & tire/wheel assemblies
• Loading/Unloading tires on and off trucks
• Tire repair
• Emergency Road Services
