Job summary

BestDrive, a Continental subsidiary, is seeking a Retread Technician to inspect tires, analyze, and perform repairs or rebuilds on CLT and Medium Truck casings to add value for fleet customers.

You will follow Conti procedures, operate shearography, buff, apply tread, seal envelopes, and ensure proper curing. The role requires teamwork, safety compliance, and clear communication with sales and fleet personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Clear verbal and written communication with coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Inspect casings using established Conti procedures and work instructions.
• Run casings through the shearography machine and grade the casing.
• Buff remaining tread and apply tread to prepared casings.
• Place the casing in the envelope, install inner envelope and ensure airtight seal.
• Vacuum test the envelope and repair casings as needed.
• Load curing chamber and set proper curing parameters.
• Communicate with BestDrive sales staff and end user fleet personnel to complete tasks.
• Complete necessary paperwork legibly and comply with safety rules.
