Job summary

Continental is seeking a Quality Inspector in the North Myrtle Beach area to perform tire semi-product inspections, identify non-conformances, and maintain SPC data aligned with Continental Tire WW standards.

You will support quality assurance through error-proofing, procedure adherence, and communication of quality issues to production teams. The role requires standing shifts, valid U.S. work authorization, and no relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification in tire build/cold prep/quality department (operator, setup, etc.).
• Willingness to work the selected shift for this position.
• This role is internal only; external applicants will not be considered.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tire semi-products from prep to curing per control plans.
• Identify and manage non-conforming materials; stop use of off-standard material when needed.
• Enter data into the SPC data collection system and maintain quality records.
• Communicate quality issues to production teams and support error-proofing processes.
• Follow all plant procedures and quality system requirements.
