Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform basic maintenance services including oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotation. You will also be responsible for driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean and organized.

The role calls for a valid driver’s license, the ability to work at least five days per week including Saturdays, and a basic understanding of automotive mechanics.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following all company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounds to present a clean and inviting appearance.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
