Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, and related services. The role includes driving customers, picking up parts, and maintaining a clean shop environment.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license and 18+ years of age, with a preference for basic automotive knowledge. This position requires availability for five days per week, including Saturdays, and offers benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Observes general vehicle condition and notes any obvious repairs or safety concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas to keep a professional appearance.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
