Gills Point S Tire is seeking an experienced Service Technician II to perform tire services, preventative maintenance, and light mechanical repairs while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles to ensure safety and performance, and you’ll communicate findings to customers with clarity.

The role emphasizes teamwork and ongoing learning. You’ll handle tire mounting, balancing, TPMS service, oil changes, fluid top-offs, and basic repairs, while

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Automotive, tire, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment and work in a fast paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and light truck vehicles.
• Perform oil and filter changes and inspect and top off fluids.
• Conduct light mechanical repairs and replacements (brakes, suspension, steering, wiper blades, batteries, lighting).
• Explain inspection findings and maintenance recommendations to customers.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and assist with inventory and shop organization.
