Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Portland, OR is seeking a Service Technician II to perform tire services, preventative maintenance, and light mechanical repairs while delivering outstanding customer service. You will inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles, mount/balance tires, perform TPMS service, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and regular inspections, while communicating findings to customers.

This full-time role offers training and opportunities for advancement in a collaborative team

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Automotive, tire, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Tire services: mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires; inspect wear and inflation; recommend replacement; perform TPMS service.
• Preventative maintenance: oil and filter changes; top off and replace fluids; exchanges for coolant/brake/transmission fluids; replace air, cabin, and fuel filters; conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and report findings.
