Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver to our members more of what they love, for less, working collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, product information, and training.
- Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs, track returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory. Ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, stored properly, and assist members with purchasing decisions and issue resolution.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and developing others. Understand and address roadblocks, and support training of team members. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics.

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to successfully complete all required trainings and assessments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in auto service industry or retail
