Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club Tire & Battery Center is hiring a full-time Tire & Battery Center Technician in Columbia, MO. You will provide safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas, collaborating with teammates to meet member expectations.

Roles involve safety compliance, knowledge of TPMS and battery/tire service, and utilizing handheld tools to drive sales and service quality. A driver’s license and ability to work 18+ are required; benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with team to fulfill sales and service requests, educates other associates on tools and tasks, mentors new technicians, and communicates to deliver safe customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and product specs.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and engage associates, using handheld tech for decisions on safety, info, and training.
• Be an Owner: Manages equipment, returns, cash handling, inventory, and paperwork; assists members with purchasing decisions and documents issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Represents the brand, fosters a respectful, team-oriented environment and helps train team members.
