Job summary

Walmart Sam’s Club in Columbia, SC is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to deliver safe service in sales and service areas and to assist members with their automotive needs. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficient operation within the tire and battery center.

The position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, use handheld devices for service decisions, and participate in a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Completion of all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if offered the position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfill sales and service requests and mentor other technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols Tire & Battery guidelines and POS operations.
• Utilize digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and support training.
• Manage cash registers, assist with inventory, and complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Assist members with purchases and provide excellent customer service.
• Support stocking and maintenance of tires, batteries, and related products per policy.
