Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a tire and service associate to maintain the Tire & Battery Center, assist members with maintenance and installation, and provide expert product recommendations. You will use Sam’s Garage tools to explain warranties and drive sales while maintaining safety and merchandise presentation.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle high-shrink items, and proficiency with POS systems. Location is Ames, IA with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Experience in auto service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and help customers with purchases and services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, organization, and presentation of Tire & Battery Center.
• Assist members with tire maintenance, installation, and service decisions.
• Use Sam’s Garage knowledge to recommend products and explain warranties.
• Process payments, returns, and exchanges using POS systems in a timely manner.
• Prioritize service workflow and coordinate with Team Lead for installations.
