Job summary

Sam's Club in Oklahoma City is seeking a Tire & Battery Center associate to maintain safety and standards on the sales floor, stock merchandise, and assist members with tire and battery services, installations, and repairs.

You will use Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to recommend safe options, drive service excellence, triage workflow, and process payments at the point of sale, while upholding company policies and delivering outstanding member service.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards by adhering to safety policies and procedures, including conducting safety sweeps and proper handling requirements.
• Ensures Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised according to company policies.
• Assists members with tire maintenance and repair services and scheduling installations.
• Provides expert member service by greeting members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchasing and service decisions.
• Drives sales and service excellence by communicating value and promoting TBC offerings to members.
• Triages and prioritizes service workflow in TBC service bays to maximize efficiency and meet service needs.
• Uses Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to recommend safe tire and battery products and explain warranties.
• Operates POS and handling of payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to procedures.
• Follows safety, ethics, and integrity standards and supports Walmart’s culture and policies.
• Delivers results with a customer-first mindset and supports continuous improvement and adoption of new tools.
