Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician at the Corona, CA location to deliver safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas, collaborating with team members to meet member expectations.

You will implement knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery guidelines, and TPMS, while leveraging POS and handheld devices to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. This role emphasizes training others and upholding Walmart values.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period after hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team to fulfill sales and service requests educating colleagues on tools, tasks, resources and mentoring new technicians.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and POS systems.
• Uses handheld digital tools to plan for and drive sales and service improvements, providing timely business decisions and training others.
• Manages equipment, tools, and supply needs with leadership, processes transactions, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures safety/compliance across work areas.
• Acts as a brand advocate, delivering high-quality service and modeling Walmart values, while supporting associates and maintaining a culture of belonging.
