Job summary

McMahon’s Best-One Tire & Auto Care in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking Lube & Tire Technicians to join our team. You will perform passenger tire service, basic maintenance, and vehicle inspections to ensure safe, reliable transport for customers.

Responsibilities include tire removal/install, mounting/balancing, TPMS resets, oil changes, lubrication, filter and fluid checks, and reading work orders. We value commitment, safety, and teamwork in a family-owned shop.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in auto mechanics.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Ongoing training per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform passenger tire service: remove, install, rotate, balance, and patch tires; reset TPMS as needed.
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance and repairs, incl. oil changes, lubrication, and filter/fluid checks.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report potential repairs to supervisor.
• Load/unload deliveries and set up displays each morning (racks, signs).
• Read work orders thoroughly and complete all listed tasks; maintain cleanliness.
