Job summary

McMahon’s Best-One Tire & Auto Care in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems with confidence and precision. You’ll use digital inspections, read work orders thoroughly, mentor peers when possible, and contribute to a strong, customer‑focused service team.

ASE certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months is required, and a full set of hand tools is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician.
• ASE Certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire).
• Full set of hand tools and tool storage provided by the employee.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex vehicle systems diagnostics utilizing logic, test procedures, electronic scan tools, scopes, and other tools.
• Provide consistent, reliable and accurate vehicle repair recommendations.
• Perform complex and in-depth repairs with confidence and proficiency on all vehicle systems.
• Inspect vehicles using Digital Vehicle Inspection and report potential repairs to service advisor.
• Mentor other techs when possible.
• Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks.
