Job summary

Southern Tire Mart in Pensacola, FL is seeking an automotive service specialist to perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and repairs, plus basic inspections and preventative maintenance.

You will assist customers with tire selection, operate safety-focused equipment, maintain tidy work areas, support inventory, and work with service advisors. Training and ASE certification opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous tire/auto service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation and repair for retail customers.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Assist customers with tire selection and explain product features and benefits.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs such as brakes, oil changes and suspension work.
• Operate tire-changing, balancing and alignment equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Support inventory control by stocking, unloading deliveries and maintaining records.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with service advisors and management.
