Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of automotive diagnostic, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 2+ ASE certifications preferred (A4 Steering and Suspension; A5 Brakes).
• Section 609 certification preferred.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
• Ability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake/hydraulic systems, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling, suspension and alignment; perform maintenance services.
• Assist fellow technicians and perform duties of lower job descriptions as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs clearly to customers and non-mechanical staff.
• Stay updated on automotive technology through formal training sessions.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant shop environment.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.
