Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic inspections, diagnostics, and mechanic services for automobiles and light trucks.
• Operate machinery, equipment, and tools safely and according to safety regulations.
• Manage inventory, requisition supplies, and assist in facility maintenance.
• Utilize tire balancers and machines to mount, balance, repair flats, and perform tire rotations.
• Conduct visual inspections and basic replacements such as batteries, filters, wipers, and bulbs.
• Assist with alignments and fluid flushes using appropriate equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics and recognize noise or vibration issues.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training provided.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and diagnostics is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance instructions.
• Good mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Work Environment

Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week, including some Saturdays and occasional evenings. The work involves exposure to moving parts, chemicals, loud noise, and outdoor conditions. Travel between locations may be required.
