The Portfolio Analyst at John Hancock reports to the Manager of Portfolio Analytics and collaborates with the Timberland Portfolio Management & Client Services team to support client investment strategies and performance analysis. You will perform financial analysis of portfolios, develop scenarios, and provide data-driven insights for client reviews.
Responsibilities include modeling acquisition funding, supporting ad hoc analyses, and leveraging AI tools to improve analytics and reporting
Formación
- Understanding of fiduciary responsibility and ESG principles.
- 2–4 years in investment analysis or portfolio management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CFA/CAIA desirable.
Responsabilidades
- Lead portfolio analytics, performance analysis, and reporting for assigned client portfolios.
- Conduct historical and forecasted performance evaluations, identify trends and risks.
- Analyze acquisition/disposition opportunities with robust financial modeling.
- Collaborate with operations, research, planning, and accounting teams.
- Prepare materials for client portfolio reviews and MD&A narratives.
