Qualifications

• Prior experience as a tiler assistant or similar role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials and tools.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings or instructions.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in measuring and cutting tiles to fit specific areas.
• Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling and filling cracks.
• Mix and apply adhesives and grout to secure tiles in place.
• Help with the installation of different types of tiles such as ceramic, porcelain, marble and mosaic.
• Follow safety procedures at all times while handling tools and materials.
• Maintain a clean work area before, during and after each project.
