Job summary

Avanta Works in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced tiler to install and repair tiles in residential and commercial properties. This full-time role requires measuring, cutting, and fitting tiles, and ensuring level surfaces and proper grout work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years tiler experience.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Must have your own visa/work permit.
• Experience working without accommodation preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of tile types, adhesives, grout, etc.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Provide references from previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas.
• Install tiles on floors, walls and other surfaces using appropriate tools.
• Repair cracked or damaged tiles.
• Remove old tiles and prepare surfaces for new installation.
• Ensure tiles are level and aligned properly.
• Mix and apply grout and sealant to finish the job.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
