Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, seeks a Rectifying Technician to ensure tile is precisely sized and finished to meet quality standards. You will work in a team dedicated to manufacturing excellence in a fast-paced plant.

Shift is 6 AM–6 PM on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will support the Additional Finishes department, follow ISO 9001, perform audits, train new hires, and collaborate with maintenance for operator care.

Qualifications

• Experience following safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand quality specifications and process instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Capable of basic problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the plant.
• Maintain safe environment for the Additional Finishes department.
• Follow ISO 9001 quality management system in finishing operations.
• Perform lock/tag/test audits and assist in safety trainings.
• Review maintenance PMs and lubrication procedures; train new hires.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Rectifying Technician to join our Manufactuirng TEAM! As the Rectifying Technician, we need someone to help make sure tile is precisely sized and finished correctly so it meets quality standards and can be properly installed.

Shift Hours: 6 AM - 6PM (2-2-3 Schedule)

Primary Objective

• Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to
• Helps to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for Additional Finishes department
• Follows the Quality Management System, which is certified to ISO 9001 for all finishing operations
• Performs necessary Lock/Tag/Test audits and assists in delivering weekly safety training materials
• Ensures product specifications are followed throughout the Additional Finishes department
• Responsible for reviewing PM, lubrication (type of grease, oil and chemical products)
• Assist the supervisor in coordinating the operations of Additional Finishes department
• Responsible for training of all new hires in regards to safety, quality policy and management systems, as well as operations of all finishing equipment and product knowledge
• Responsible for working with maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs
• Fill-in and relief responsibility for all Additional Finishes job functions
• Operates loader and unloader machines, changes set-up, and completes basic maintenance tasks
• Assists in water treatment duties and application of chemical products
• Completed other tasks as needed
