AHF Products in Kankakee, IL is seeking a Production Operator to mix chemical compounds, set up equipment, and move tiles through forming, heating, and packaging for shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• <1 year of related experience or equivalent training/education.
• Must pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening.
• Positive and verifiable work history.

Responsibilities

• Perform operator PMs; use computer control systems; assist with die changes; conduct daily walkthroughs.
• Operate material control panel and related equipment.
• Input formulas for mixing tile raw materials.
• Maintain appropriate levels of raw materials to keep production running.
• Add pigments at defined levels to control colors and pattern schedules.
• Understand and adhere to daily production schedules.
• Properly grind and store materials for sizing and grinding operations.
• Master sizing system components, limitations, and use.
• Ensure that quality standards are achieved, and rework is minimized.
• Understand how to use elevator loads and procedures for moving products.
• Adhere to safety guidelines: monthly safety training; use PPE; read MSDS; follow LOTO rules.
• Rotate through all duties and actively participate in troubleshooting processing problems.
