Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is seeking a Production Operator for a local Ceramic Tile Manufacturer on an interview basis. The role pays $13.00 per hour with hours Monday-Friday from 1:45PM to 10:00PM, in Clarksville, TN.

The candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs, communicate clearly in writing and speech, and report safety concerns to management daily. Physical demands include standing on concrete and working in a non temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Possess effective written and oral communication.
• Able to communicate daily with management about safety related issues.
• Capable of standing on a concrete surface for the entire shift.
• Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment.
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary.
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality and quantity of production.
• Ensure lines are running continuously.
• Update oncoming Operator of maintenance issues.
• Check material, boxes, pallets, labels and barcodes.
• Oil and grease motors regularly.
• Replace belts, shafts and motors as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures of the Company.
• Good attitude, performance and attendance is necessary.
