Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is seeking a Quality Inspector for a leading ceramic manufacturing plant. The role offers $20.70 per hour with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Opportunities for full-time or part-time work may be available. Responsibilities include inspecting boxed tiles in the quality hold area, checking samples on kiln platforms, and monitoring finishing processes to ensure conformity with pressing, glazing, shading, packaging, and firing

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Experience identifying tile defects.
• Ability to evaluate shade/tonality and distinguish patterns.
• Standing on concrete for long durations.
• Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Capable of working in a moderately loud environment.

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking experienced candidates for a Quality Inspector position with a Leading Ceramic Manufacturing Plant. This position will pay $20.70 per hour, and the hours are 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule from 6:00PM - 6:00AM.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of boxed tile in the Quality hold area in Selection
• Inspect sampled tiles on kiln platforms prior to Selection
• Inspect unfinished tile throughout the manufacturing process for conformance to pressing, glazing, shading, packaging and physical fired tile standards
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must have previous manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Must have previous experience in identifying tile defects
• Must have the ability to evaluate shade/tonality and distinguish conforming/non-conforming patterns
• Able to pay close attention to details is key
• Capable of standing on concrete for at least 10 hours
• Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• Capable of working in a moderately loud environment
