Responsibilities

• Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to
• Maintains a safe and healthy working environment for the Additional Finishes department
• Follows the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for finishing operations
• Performs Lock/Tag/Test audits and assists with safety trainings
• Ensures product specifications are followed in the Additional Finishes department
• Reviews PMs and lubrication specifications for relevant equipment
• Assists supervisor in coordinating Additional Finishes department operations
• Participates in training of new hires on safety, quality policies and equipment
• Works with maintenance to sustain operator basic care programs
• Fills in and relieves any Additional Finishes job functions as needed
• Operates loader/unloader machines, changes setups, and performs basic maintenance
• Assists in water treatment duties and application of chemical products
• Completes other tasks as needed
