Job summary

Monterrey Tile Company is hiring a Machine Operator to run cutting saws and support tile production. The role requires reading orders, measuring materials accurately, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace on the shop floor.

Day shift, Monday through Friday, with company-paid benefits. Candidates should be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor climate. Prior manufacturing experience is required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience
• Pass felony background check
• Must be able to work in outdoor climate
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to interpret job orders and take accurate measurements
• Basic mathematical skills and ability using a tape measure

Responsibilities

• Operates all equipment in a safe manner and maintains a safe and clean working environment
• Follows specifications or procedures for set-up and operation
• Able to read and print shop and customer orders
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Supervisor
• Unload the finished parts and stack according to size, shape and material
• Completes jobs on a timely and consistent basis
• Works as a team to achieve optimal results
• Actively looks for new and improved ways to do things
• Other duties as assigned
