Job summary

Monterrey Tile Company in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run cutting saw and interpret shop orders. Candidates must read measuring tools accurately and work in an outdoor climate.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience
• Pass felony background check
• Must be able to work in outdoor climate
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to interpret job orders and take accurate measurements
• Basic mathematical skills and ability using a tape measure

Responsibilities

• Operates all equipment in a safe manner and maintains a clean working environment
• Follows specifications or procedures for set-up and operation
• Reads and prints shop and customer orders
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Supervisor
• Unloads finished parts and stacks according to size, shape and material
• Completes jobs on a timely and consistent basis
• Works as a team to achieve optimal results
• Actively looks for new and improved ways to do things
• Other duties as assigned
