Nothum Food Processing Systems in Springfield, MO is seeking a skilled welder to join our team. You will support the welding process for large-scale machinery, working with TIG welding and precision to meet print specifications.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and clean, high-quality results. You will read blueprints, select appropriate equipment, perform inspections, and maintain records while collaborating with a tight-knit production crew.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior welding experience, TIG preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Must complete a weld test during pre-employment screening.
• Ability to follow work instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and specs to ensure accurate welding.
• Select TIG equipment per material specifications.
• Tack weld parts for proper alignment.
• TIG weld stainless fittings and tubing per prints.
• Identify need for maintenance and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain weld records and logs.
• Perform borescope inspections for weld defects.
• Visual weld inspection with gauges, calipers, micrometers.
• Maintain safe operations with PPE and procedures.
• Keep a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
