Watson Custom Tanks is looking for a TIG Welder to join our growing team in Strafford, Missouri. We specialize in designing and manufacturing high-quality stainless-steel tanks and vessels, providing innovative solutions for customers across a variety of industries.

What You'll Do
As a TIG Welder, you will:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless-steel tanks and components
- Layout and fit tank heads and shells according to blueprints and specifications
- Prepare weld joints and ensure proper fit-up before welding
- Use weld gauges to verify weld quality and compliance
- Complete weld logs, heat code documentation, and traveler paperwork accurately
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and shop drawings
- Operate hand tools and fabrication equipment safely
- Use overhead cranes and material-handling equipment safely
- Work within confined spaces when required
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE
- Support teammates and assist with additional manufacturing duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Basic TIG welding experience
- Ability to pass a 1G TIG weld test
- Basic fabrication skills
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Basic understanding of weld gauges and blueprint reading
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certification from an accredited institution
- Experience welding stainless steel
- Experience with pulsed MIG welding
- Experience in an ASME manufacturing environment
- Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts
- Welding/fabrication experience preferred

Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, crouch, kneel, and reach
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Work safely around manufacturing equipment
- Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
