Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a TIG Welder for a 6+ month contract in Anaheim, CA. The role involves performing TIG welding on stainless steel, reading and interpreting blueprints, and supporting R&D prototype work up to 50% of duties.

Candidates should hold a Welding Certificate Level 1 (GTAW Stainless Steel) and a High School Diploma or GED. Excellent measurement and inspection skills required; multiple benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints or drawings and interpret blueprints on a computer.
• 2+ years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Welding Certificate Level 1 Welding (GTAW Stainless Steel) required.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Layout work requirements and obtain needed equipment and inspect welds.
• Blend, grind, or polish weld to meet specified wall requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering on new R&D projects; prototype welding may be 50% of the job.
• Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to measure parts and complete production paperwork.
• Interpret prints and process sheets; sign work orders for operations performed.
• Perform standard hand and machine welding to fabricate or restore parts with tolerances as defined.
• Build up finished surfaces and repair cracks; use measuring instruments to check dimensions.
• Arrange for repair or replacement of equipment as necessary and perform routine servicing.
• Assist with new process trials and other specialized assignments.
• Role involves bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
