Job summary

Viron International in Temple, TX is seeking a precise TIG welder for first shift to build high‑quality air-handling components in a safe, fast-paced production environment. You will weld stainless steel and sheet metal, read blueprints, and use equipment like plasma torches, shear and brake to fabricate ductwork and fittings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven TIG welding experience; mechanically inclined.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and tape measure accuracy.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn; 2‑week training provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality TIG welding on stainless and sheet metal assemblies.
• Cut, form, grind, drill, fit, and fabricate sheet metal fittings and duct work to spec.
• Operate critical shop equipment: plasma torch, shear, break, roller, punch press, rotary forming machines, seam welders, coil line.
• Set up and run equipment safely; ensure all safety devices are in use.
• Perform first piece inspections and subsequent in-process checks.
