Modern Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced welder to perform weld preparation, welding, and finishing to meet customer drawings and specifications. You will read and interpret mechanical drawings, maintain welding equipment, and document inspections.

The role requires at least 1 year welding experience, high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read blueprints and use basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an internal welding test.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in welding.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.

Responsabilités

• Welding preparation, welding and weld finishing to customer drawings and specs.
• Interpret welding requirement symbols on drawings.
• Process inspection, certification and documentation.
• Welding equipment maintenance and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
