Job summary

Lokar in Knoxville, TN is seeking a skilled TIG welder to join the production team. You will weld assemblies according to specifications, stage finished parts, and assist in fixture development for existing and new products.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and the capacity to multitask within a Monday–Friday 7:30am–4pm schedule in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of TIG welding experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Weld assemblies according to manufacturer directions and fixtures.
• Assist in development/creation of new fixtures for products old and new.
• Complete work tasks as indicated by work orders and production schedules.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Manager.
• Complete Inventory and Production documentation.
• Work safely and in a clean manner by following procedures and company policies.
• Stage welded product neatly and orderly.
• Cross training between tasks/positions.
